You will receive a monthly calendar that is drawn up by a member of the Parent Council.  It will indicate which day your help is required.  This should work out to about once every 4 to 5 weeks.

If you are unable to help on the day you are scheduled for, it is your responsibility to find a replacement from the class list provided.  If you fail to help or find a replacement for 3 times, you will be asked to leave the program.

This policy is being enforced to:

1. Provide for the safety of your child
   
2. Follow Licensing Board Policy concerning the adult-child ratio
3. Ensure that all parents are helping out an equal amount of time, thus not leaving the responsibility to only a few
4. Allow an opportunity for more parent/teacher/coach interaction
5. Enable you to spend a special day with your child at playschool - they love to have you come!
